Why Choose ClearCorrect?

  • Price

ClearCorrect is offered at a range of prices by different providers, but averages out at between £1,800 and £3,500. We’ve seen one company offering it for £1,195 for a simple three-month case, but the same company was charging £3,395 for complex treatment.

  • Treatment Time

3-18 months, depending on the severity of the case.

  • Materials

ClearCorrect use a polyurethane resin for their clear aligners, which they claim is thinner and more comfortable than the plastic used by Invisalign. They call it a Clear Quartz tri-layer system, which is reputed to be both highly stain resistant and more comfortable than many other rival brands.

  • Treatment Process

This begins with an initial consultation to assess whether or not you’re a good candidate for ClearCorrect treatment. Next up are x-rays, photographs and tooth imprints in order to develop a personalised treatment plan. The first set of aligners will then be built for the patient, who’ll attend a dentist to have them fixed. Patients will then attend dentist appointments every 4 to 6 weeks for their next set of aligners to be fitted.

  • Guarantee

No. ClearCorrect doesn't offer a guarantee of successful treatment.

  • Any Extras?

    None.

Reviews

Many people use Trustpilot and Google Reviews as sources of customer feedback. Unfortunately, there’s nothing on either of these for ClearCorrect. The only reviews we can find for them is on the US website bestcompany.com, where they score 2.9 out of 5.

I needed a new retainer, so my dentist said they could do it rather than going back to my original orthodontist. All my previous retainers made by my ortho were clear so I assumed these would be. Unfortunately, Clear Correct puts their name on one side of the lower retainer and a number on the other in a light brown color, so it looks like my teeth (which I have worked hard to keep them white and healthy) have a nasty dirty brown streak on the top. I will never get these again. Waste of $300.

I love my aligners. They are thin and comfortable. After the 1st week I would find myself forgetting to put them back in immediately after eating because they became so familiar. My first set did have a small section that was a little sharp, but I called my dentist and went in the next day and they sanded the sharp edge and it no longer was a problem. My treatment only cost $3,000 for the 6 months changing a tray every 2 weeks. My teeth look better everyday. I can't wait to see the final outcome.

What was suppose to take 9 mos took 3 years. The first group of trays were extremely uncomfortable. No amount of filing would help. Had to resort to using dental wax so that I could wear them. Could only talk if I took one of them out. Subsequent revision trays were better, but still not perfect. 36 total trays. I am pleased with the outcome. But what a hassle..

Our Thoughts

ClearCorrect are a growing company who have spread from the US and are now providing clear braces for teeth across the UK. Pricing can be a concern as it varies so widely from dentist to dentist, and the lack of reviews means that consumers can’t get a clear picture of the company. However, their aligners are comfortable compared to many rivals, although the lack of a guarantee – not unusual for clear aligner providers, to be honest – may put some people off.
